Dear Friends,
Each Memorial Day weekend, the National EMS Memorial Service honors those EMS providers who have made the ultimate sacrifice and given their lives in the line of duty.
The mission of the National EMS Memorial Service is to honour and remember those men and women of America's Emergency Medical Services who have made the ultimate sacrifice and given their lives in the line of duty, and to recognize the sacrifice they have made in service to their communities and their fellow man.
Each year, hundreds of family members, friends, coworkers, EMS and political leaders, and colleagues from EMS agencies from around the nation gather together in Roanoke, Virginia to remember our honorees.
This year, three EMS providers from New England will be honoured for making the ultimate sacrifice. They are:
Michael Latta, EMT-B, Patriot Ambulance Service, Chelmsford, Massachusetts
Last Response: April 26, 2007
Allan Parsons, EMT-P, Med-Care Ambulance Service, Mexico, Maine
Last Response: July 5, 2007
Richard Powers, EMT-P, Beauport Ambulance Service, Gloucester, Massachusetts
