DHS/ODP and the Naval Postgraduate School are now accepting applications for the fall 2005 Homeland Security Master’s Degree class that begins September 7, 2005. DHS and the Naval Postgraduate School are pleased to be entering into the third year of the Homeland Security Master’s Degree program.

The deadline for the fall 2005 class is May 1. If you want to receive the best education available in the field, you need to know about this program which is provided at no cost to local, state and DHS government officials.

Visit the Naval Postgraduate School Center for Homeland Defense and Security website at www.chds.us if you have further questions or would like to apply.

According to Paul M. Maniscalco; Chairman, NAEMT Administrators Division, most students in the program are senior or fast-rising state and local  officials. DHS selects the students on the basis of their proven expertise in Homeland Security-related fields, objectively-measured leadership potential, and the academic skills essential for the rigorous coursework at NPS. To encourage the sharing of information across all disciplines associated with Homeland Security, the program enrolls military officers and federal officials in concert with local and state officials.

Maniscalco/NAEMTAD encourages members who are interested in this specialty area to submit applications to participate in this program broadening your personal horizons while concurrently professionally representing the interests of EMS throughout this exciting program opportunity!
