If you are responsible for planning for a pandemic for your agency or your community, you may want to take a minute to check out these computer tools from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) - http://www.cdc.gov/flu/tools/fluworkloss/.  There are three tools available to assist you in planning for the impact that a pandemic could have on your community.  Flu Work Loss, Flu Aid, and Flu Surge provide computer models of how a pandemic would affect your work force, strain your resources, and increase your patient load respectively.

If you find these tools useful, I would appreciate you letting me know!
