Scholarships available for children of 9/11 LEO, FF, and EMT Responders

The September Fund a living memorial to the brave police, fire and EMT workers who perished on Sept. 11, 2001. It was established in September 2003 by "The Corey and Jay Show" on KDJE-FM (100.3 The Edge) in Little Rock, a Clear Channel station.

Any first-year college bound student who is the child of a firefighter, law enforcement officer or emergency medical technician and who lives in Arkansas may apply.

To date, the fund has awarded $23,000 in scholarship money.

Deadline for submission is March 15.

The September Fund, a non-profit, tax-exempt organization and is registered with the State of Arkansas.
