Bernhardt: I feel that if we don't have this technology to
enhance Pt. care we will be ridiculed by much of mainstream
society that is now using camera-cellphones and the like. This
is something I see as another way to verify that we are care
providers and not just ambulance drivers.
06-22-2004 20:31:21 - Rozek: Either
the medical control physicians trust us medics or they use
micromanaging techniques such as this machine. Why else would
you dedicate a large amount of time, money and effort needed to
monitor the monitor rather than treat additional patients in the
emergency thus relieving the physician to expand treatment
opportunities to additional patients?

BOEHM: MEDICAL CONTROL MUST HAVE TRUST IN STREET
PERSONAL,OTHER WISE PUT THE ER STAFF IN OUR UNIT AND WE CAN MOVE
BACK IN TIME TO WHEN ALL WE DID WAS LOAD AND GO.
06-21-2004 15:14:29 - David
White: As long as field personnel can accurately interpret
vital signs I see no advantage in telemetry. Los Angeles (CA)
dumped telemetry many years ago.

Delisle: Yes. I feel it would be an excellent idea to have
patient telemety. I feel it reduces the chance of miss-comunication,
and gives Medical control more info in order to better tailor
treatments. |

06:50:45 - Mike Walsh: I
think it's useful, definitely another tool to help out, but we
always say treat the patient not the machine.. You can see a
pulse on a computer screen but you can't feel its quality.
