25 years in Fire, EMS, and SAR in a variety of volunteer and paid positions. I got my RN to support my "habit", and have worked ER, ICU and HEMS as
well as ground CCT. Have taught informally for about 20 years, but got a "regular gig" with a community college 2 years ago. Currently the
training officer of a combination paid / volunteer EMS and a Search and Rescue Technician with a volunteer SAR group. I teach my students the way I do because one day they may have to take care of my folks (70s), or my sister (Deputy
Sheriff). If they ever have to take care of me, I hope they remember I was a nice guy!
