Susan Smith

Susan Smith is an RN. She says she worked (and did a lot of learning) in a large emergency department/trauma center in San Diego for fourteen years. The last three of those fourteen years, I was the manager of the Prehospital department. At that time was also adjunct faculty at two community colleges, for the paramedic training programs. Am currently the Medical Education Manager for San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
Have done multiple presentations and taught many classes. My speciality was, and is, disaster preparedness - and this was before 9/11, when I had to beg people to pay attention!
To keep my skills fresh, and have some fun at the same time, I work as a nurse for the San Diego Padres Baseball team. Love baseball!
