Brief words about the
Webmistress of the EMS House Of DeFrance

Some Webmistress Dirt
A lover of music and rock and roll,  Valerie is a firm believer in the power of humor, even the dark side of humor in this EMS business. Involved in emergency medical services since 1984, Valerie is an MICP, (ParaPup), EMS I/C, has a couple of EMS degrees and instructs  EMTs at UAA and in other private EMS academies or in public arenas.  She serves as the chief cook and bottle washer for a volunteer EMS group, plays on the computer, builds web sites and puts weird things online, loves movies but rarely gets time to watch television, and is  a voracious reader. She combats ignorance and deplores country western music, lives in the great woods, desires and works towards being a good medic and friend, an adequate writer, and wants to leave behind something positive when she departs this world. She is also involved with other EMS volunteer related projects, sticking her finger in far to many pies. Valerie believes firmly in the power of volunteerism, for the good of the soul and community. In general she is a rebel at heart who speaks her mind and is her own worst enemy. (sometimes she also hides stuff all over her websites, so look out!) Her vision of herself in her dreams is seriously flawed. She likes to get feedback, good or bad.

The Dirt
(but not all the dirt.  no- I will never tell all the dirt. I'm waiting for Jerry Springer for that)

*Some of the more interesting education I have received was while serving more than a few stints in a Montana juvenile facility.

No HS diploma till in my 20's, no college till I was in my 30's, then onto paramedic school~ which damn near killed me~ in fun sort of way.

It's never to late.
Do it now, before they cover YOU with dirt-forever.
